Swatches: Sasatinnie Q754 & Sasatinnie Q750

Hello everyone! I have been trying to hold back and find time to swatch all of the recently purchased Sasatinnie polishes, but I'm way too eager to share these two first. I hate to admit, they were both impulse buys. *sigh*

So from the bottle, Sasatinnie Q754 is a beautiful shimmery fairy teal shade. Sheer teal base with lots of silver shimmers. It has that 'light' feeling to it. And I really love teals or greenish blues so... so this polish was quite irresistible.

It was surprisingly sheer, very sheer. I have expected patches, judging from my previous experience with this brand  but not the sheerness. Haha. Anyway, I think the formula did improve slightly.

On my nails are three coats with no top coat. You can see it has a wet-look shine to it. I love it very much in the bottle, but I'm having second thoughts about it on my nails...

Oh my! The spring bug must have bitten me or something. Few months ago, I would never have picked this shade up. With all the pastel swatches around the blogger-sphere, this is suddenly one of the shades I must have in my stash!

Sasatinnie Q750 is what I think many would describe it as Periwinkle shade, or to be more specific blue-ish periwinkle shade. Haha! Similar with  Sasatinnie Q754, it has a sheer base with silver shimmers. Oh, quite fairytale-like too, at least in my opinion.

This particular shade took about 3 to 4 coats also without top coat. I would suggest layering if you prefer a much opaque finish. While I do not enjoy the 3-4 coatings, I do love this colour very much. What an interesting shade to have in my stash!

To conclude this post, as much as I love the colours, they were not ideal buys. Average is what I would rate them. I'm not too fond of the formula, but they are in acceptable range. :)

  3. Yeap! It's so hard to resist the temptation of buying polish @@ makes me wonder how did I ever manage to resist buying those days. Hahaha!! Yeah, that's quite a con property in these. Also that they take awhile to dry.. hmm. Otherwise, yeap! gorgeous shades!

  4. Pity the formula's not better. Then again, I tend to do three coats regardless with most of my polishes. Sasatinnie Q750 is gooooorgeous. *w*

  5. Couldn't agree more with you! I totally love Q750! Makes me wonder why did I not notice such colour from the beginning! Looks like a great babyshower colour too! :)
