Guest Post Feature: Miss.Love2807

Hello everyone! Today I am very proud to present unto you one of my favourite blogger of all time -- Anhy from miss.love2807! She never fails to impress me with the uniqueness of her nail arts and always served with the right dosage of Anhy-ness in them ;) Without further ado, I present to you Anhy:

Hello dear Lacqueerisa readers!
My name is Anhy and I am honored to be the guest blogger today on Lacqueerisa.

"Once upon a time there was a little, six-year-old girl who got her first nail polishes from her mother as a birthday present..."

This is how I'd start my nail polish love story. Hihi ^.^
I'm a vietnamese girl in her twenties who lives in Germany and has passion for nail art, obviously. I named my blog Miss.Love2807 because the youngest sister in the anime "Cat's Eye" has the name Love and I thought it was cute. 2807 just represents my birthday. Together my blog name can also be translated as "the Miss who loves her life and is grateful for every day".  Even though I created my blog in 2009, it was only last year that I started to blog regularly and mostly focused on nail designs. lol.

For this guest post I wanted to create something that shows my nail art style and is in a way connected to Lacqueerisa.

Fullmetal Alchemist Roy Mustang Nail Art

Let's start with the first one. An anime design. Yes, I'm an Otaku and proud of it. Haha About a month ago I did a Fullmetal Alchemist nail design and Lacqueerisa told me her cute "Glove Story" and that Roy Mustang is also one of her favorite characters from that show. This is fully dedicated to Lacqueerisa! Roy Mustang, the flame alchemist.

For the flames I wanted to try something different than drawing actual flames, so I bought this beautiful polish by China Glaze called Pure Joy. The red and gold glitters make it so perfect for fire themed nail arts and it also reminds me of the crackle of fire. As for the background I chose black because glitter polishes stand out here the most. However, Roy's background color is blue, I mean his hair is already black, with a dark background it wouldn't be visible anymore. Plus, blue is the color of his uniform. ^-^  My thumb shows his fingers snap, his typical fire transmutation pose. This was the first time I ever draw a hand. Admittedly, it wasn't easy but I like how it turned out.

A Ray Of Light In The Sea

The second nail design is pretty minimalistic. Lacqueerisa's nail arts always reminds me of pieces you'd see at an art gallery. She just recently did a minimalism inspired one, which I really love, so I thought I'd try the minimalistic theme here too. Just Anhy-style. You will find this kind of nail trend mostly rocked by japanese women.

For this nail art I applied a rosé polish first. The blue tips are rounded. Usually this is how my nail polish would look like if my nails grow out haha Kinda weird but hey, weird is the new normal. The gold stud completes it. For the other nails I mainly used a gold, thin nail art tape, then played around with loose glitters, rhinestones + studs (which aren't that visible -.-) and a butterfly.

Navy blue and gold is one of my favorite color combo! What's your's?

I hope this wasn't too wordy and you enjoyed my nail arts. In case you visit my blog, don't be shy to say Hi (^_^)v

Thank you so much Lacqueerisa for this great opportunity!

Love,

There you have it. Two very awesome nail arts from the very talented Anhy! Truthfully, words cannot express just how much I am in love with FMA Roy Mustang Nail Art! Also, just how perfect China Glaze Pure Joy is for that nail art? -- Pure Joy! *sheds tears of happiness* Thank you, thank you, Thank You! ♥ And.. would you just look at that minimalistic nail art she did? Working with only a limited palette and using very basic designs, she managed to create a look that is so beautiful and so chic! I totally need those studs! ;D

Thank you so much Anhy, for putting so much effort into this post! (and anime soundtrack earworms XD) Now, dearest readers, if you love what you see here and would love to see more of Anhy-ness, don't waste a second, and hurry hurry to her blog! ~.^
