Same Colours, Different Looks

Good Afternoon! So while I am swatching, I have a few nail art previously did, but have yet to seen to be showcased here. I have done these for Section two of Tip Top Nails South Africa Nail Art Contest. For section two, participants are required to use only Red, Nude, Brown, Purple and Pink with an addiction of a different colour each week. They are still welcoming participants so feel free to stop by their page and join in the fun!

Section 2, Week 1 : Mosaic and Stained Glass

Lacqueerisa: Mosaic Shards

This is my take for the week. Being a little cheeky and playing with rules. Part of the requirement for Week 1 submission was to use black as outline. Haha! So, I sort of outlined by bordering it, you know? Hahaha! Anyway, if you have noticed this is yet another inspired by Chelsea's Get Nailed! She inspires me so much! Never failed to come up with looks that will just wow me away :D

Section 2, Week 2 : Flowers!

Lacqueerisa: Graphic Flowers

For week 2's theme I sought to play with negative and positive spaces. My only regret is that the flowers shapes hardly shows. Lol. Pity. I did dry brush strokes as bases for each nail. The flowers were inspired by Baby's Breath and Fire Pink. Well, apparently I have not read the rules closely enough. Black wasn't listed in the allowed colours for week 2. Haha, my mistake there. I have assumed the colours were the same week after week, so..aw my bad. Hadn't meant to break the rules.

And the list of nail polishes used as well as tool:

Nail Polishes and Tools Used

From left to right:
  • Essence Nude Glam - Toffee to Go
  • Colour Combos - CBL132
  • Colour Combos - CBL114
  • Holika Holika - Black polish
  • Tip Top Nail Chic - Red Rendezvous
  • Revlon - Chocolate Truffle
And this concludes my walk with this contest. Haha, I have since withdrawed from it. I have tons of other plans for my blog. Pending ideas for nail arts, as well as swatches that are dued. LOL! However, I did have fun participating so far. It's been really interesting coming up with different looks with the same colour schemes.
