Selamat Hari Raya!

Hello! This is going to be a quick and short post to wish all my friends and readers who are celebrating:

Salam Aidilfitri! :D

For every raya, I looked forward to eat all those savoury Malay food. Ketupat, nasi impit, rendang, curry and beef. Such delicious food! This Hari Raya, I decided to do a simple nail art that's inspired by Ketupat. ;)

Bright Stripes, Little Spots

Hello! It's been quite awhile. I am really busy these days. Oh, life! Haha, so I mentioned previously I wanted to get swatching done. However, due to bad weather and haze and bla, bla, bla... I couldn't go outside for pictures. I did do some though, yet... As time passes by, I could no longer bear not having nail art on my nails. And so, I went ahead and get one done ;)

The Sweet Love

Good Morning! We are just a few days before Valentine's Day. I believe there is a possibility of love literally filling the air around us by now. Valentine's Day as how I know it, is a day many couples dedicate to celebrate their love for each other. Now, I've heard a few who do not agree on this V-day idea. One of the common reasoning they give is "I don't think love should only be celebrated for a day. It should be everyday, all year!".  Well, I think they are missing the point. It's not that couples (or anyone else) only celebrate 'Love' on Valentine's Day only. Rather than that, I think it's a day that gives the perfect excuse for both parties to just be excused of other activities and spend time with each other. Haha! Anyway, these days, Valentine's Day has become a day to celebrate 'Love' in general. So this year, I've been thinking of attempting at least one Valentine's Day nail art. Just as that thought crossed my mind, I received an invitation email from Jaimie Herrmann, Community Outreach Coordinator of Brilliant Earth to participate in a 'Create A Little Love Campaign', end of last month. Brilliant Earth is a company based in US that specializes in ethically sourced diamonds and engagement rings. If you plan on getting engage this year, you might want to take a look at this company :) Disclaimer: This is not a paid post nor sponsored or compensated in any way. But a post done out of love for nail art in contribution to 'Create A Little Love Campaign'.

So, 'Create A Little Love Campaign', is a movement hosted by Brilliant Earth to spread a little more love around the globe. What makes it interesting is that every participant gets to fully and freely express what love means to them in their own unique ways!

Nail Stylure BE101

Hello! I wanted to post up new manicure today, but darn hot weather and haze has caused my mani to bubbled up. I thought I'd show it anyway, but.... nah. The bubbles totally ruins the manicure. Thankfully though, I've got this swatched up the other day. So while I redo my mani in faint hopes that it'd be better, here's something to fill up the blog. Hahaha!

Some of you may know that I have been wanting to get OPI My Vampire is Buff or Zoya Jacqueline for I love me some nice yellowish off white polish as base for nail arts. But I'm not willing to pay the price. I thought I was, but every time when I see OPI's the price just...turns me off. And my little search in hope for dupes started. However, I wasn't looking for any brand dupes, specific ones with okay formulas. I was hoping Etude House would have some, but sadly, there weren't one. Ah, I thought of It's Skin brand as I've not tried their milk/creme formulas. I didn't have my hopes high though, knowing that every time when I'm on the look for certain shades, they always prove to be unavailable. Much to my delight, It's Skin BE101 came close enough.

It's Skin Nail Polish Swatch And Review

Good morning!

It's been a long time since I last post on swatches/review. Haha! I've been pretty lazy to do those actually. Most of my hauls were pretty much random, and while I was trying to think and how I would group them, I would have drift away with nail arts already by then. Anyway, I have two pretties to show you today! They are from a Korean brand, It's Skin. I saw them first at Sungei Wang Plaza, but didn't have the time to check them out then. Recently on a trip to Sunway Pyramid, I saw this store again! They opened there somewhere beginning of this year! Although a little smaller than the outlet in Sungei Wang Plaza there are still varieties!!
