Shades of Triangles

Hey everyone! Today's nails are inspired by all the beautiful triangle pattern prints that's been around for quite sometime. I've been wanting to get try create those repetitive triangle patterns but didn't have the courage to do so. Every time the thought of doing it pops up, I simply brush/push it away with this very excuse that goes in my head : It's going to be tedious, you're going to lose patience. You're not going to get the lines straight anyway.

Well, my usual brush, although at size 0, was still too thick to attempt such designs. But ever since I modified one of my old nylon brush, I don't see why not! So, I finally sat down and gave it a go.

A Touch of Blue

Good Afternoon! How are all of you feeling today? It is Monday and its exactly 36 days before Christmas arrives! I'm getting pretty excited, are you? From today onward, I'd be posting Christmas themed nails on every three days. Hopefully, I'd manage and be on time to post them but there's going to be so much to prepare for the season, while I'm excited to do this, I'm afraid of not being able to keep track (haha!). But at the end of it all, I do hope to be able to finish all 12 Christmas Themed Nails before Christmas comes knocking at my door! ;P

Swatch & Review

So today I'll be swatching two polishes from LUCIDarling nail polish. I purchased these two from Etude House months ago.

The brushes are slightly flat and big. Application was smooth brush was soft too. However, they are pretty sheer and kinda streaky. Needs about 3 coats (or more)  to even out the colours.

I don't remember why I bought this colour (must be greed). Oh, don't get me wrong, it is a great colour but I don't think it suits my skin tone. Still, I really love the combo of this the light coral colour with the gold glitters. Its most likely I won't wear it as a whole, maybe I'll mix and match it with other colours.

Next up! One of my favourite shades of all time, MINT!!

I've just only noticed that my pinky finger needs more coats. Somehow the opaque-ness on the pinky lost out to the other 3. LUCIDarling Glittering Tender Mint, I must say this nail polish quickly chart the tops as one of my favourite nail colour of all time! And true to its name, it does have a much tender feel to it. Its a little muted, not too bright, just right for soft feeling the colour is giving out. It also have this little green glitters which I think add to its uniqueness! And this colour suits my skin better.

Yayness! What about you? Do you prefer the Jewel Coral or Tender Mint?
