Hello! :) It finally rained yesterday and haze has cleared up quite a lot. Praise God for that! Today I'd be showing you a nail art I did last week and wore over the weekend. It is inspired by this photo. I love the setting of the photo as well as the colours and the atmosphere it gives - a little bit industrial and a little bit mysterious.

Hello to all of you! I'm in a very or rather joyous mood today since I do have nail art to share with you! I was browsing through etsy for inspirational food (as usual). Yeap, you read it right. Inspirational food. I am one of those who just can't go by a day without feeding my eyes with pretty pictures of creativity outbursts by all the creative minds out there. Hoho~! Back on track, I was saying look at this picture here. It is a Hot Air Balloon Kit Circus themed made by Claire Waring who resides in Sydney Australia! I loved the one with the blue dome so much I just have to have something similar on my nails! 

Tealicious Pinks

Hello! I have with me some love for teals and pinks today. I'm also submitting this for a nail art contest held by Marisa of Polished Obsession and Lakeisha of Refined & Polished with themes featuring colours of teals and pinks in simple nail arts. Not to forget the very exciting prizes which made it very irresistible to participate in hopes of winning them. Haha~ Well, I'm very sure there are tons of talented ladies participated already! I do regret the lateness in sharing with you such information. I've been busying myself with other matters in life but there are still two days left to join if you're interested. Abstract Thoughts

Heyyyyaasss! To all my Malaysian readers, are you ready to vote?! It's going to be my first time voting and I'm excited to play my part for the country! In conjunction with GE13, this will be my last manicure for this week and no more nail arts or colours until after voting sessions. So the blog might be quiet for awhile... :(

Back on topic, today is nothing but a random 'go with the flow' nail art idea. I was in the mood of doing a nail art, but also in a mood for a little fun and weirdness. Hence, the results are abstract thoughts that flowed onto the nails. :) 

Skittlette of Purple, Teal and Yellow

Hello dearest readers and fellow friends! My week hasn't been good. It started out well, but headed downhill then. Lols. So what happened? Well, apparently my account which I have created in Facebook for this Blog, has been reported as fake. And I was suppose to confirm my identity via codes received in sms for the number which I have register that account with. In my series of weird coincidences, that particular number has been inactive (it was an extra number and we forgot to reload it) and thus was terminated by the service provider and I have no way of getting the number back. There is still a small hope to see if I can get the number back next month. If I do, good for me! If I don't, well that's just too bad. For the time being, I am unable to log into Facebook nor update my page. I do hope for your kind understanding and I am doing all I can to regain access.  

Now for the better part, I have finally managed to squeeze some brain juice to complete this Skittlette Nail Art for your viewing pleasure. Haha! It is a look inspired by this picture.

Feeling A Little Under The Weather

...well, sort of. I think?

Hi everyone! No, I'm not sick or anything. This nail colour combination is inspired by a wristlet I've received for Christmas. I love it. At first I thought of incorporating the design on the wristlet onto my nails, but I changed my mind, kept the colours though. ;P And these colours, they inspired or somehow possessed the talent of affecting my mood turning it a little grey. A little soft whisper of sadness lingering somewhere. Haha. :)

A Walk With Purple Nature

Hello everyone! It's already February and seeing as February's birthstone is Amethyst, I was in the mood for purple manicure! Besides, I was really inpired by this pillow found on etsy. The colours caught my eye and I knew I wanted to do vector-like designs on my nails. I did them a day before going on a short vacation, it wasn't planned but they ended up matching with my outfit that very day. Haha!

F4 Polish Peppermint Stix!

Hello!! Today I'm very excited to share about a prize that I've won in a giveaway held by F4 Polish at their facebook page. It was a giveaway held to celebrate the mark of their 1,000 fans like on their facebook page.  I was really looking forward to receive this, because I got to choose any polish of my choice and get it at JUMBO size :D I've chosen one from their Christmas Collection which is Peppermint Stix! I chose it because everywhere I went, I've only been seeing Red & White and Peppermints! The name is so catchy too! Plus, I really wanted a red and white glitter, this is just perfect! Ho-Ho-Ho Christmas Nails!

Hello once again! I know I'm late again. So here's the 3rd Christmas nails of the 12 Christmas Nails Series! It was rather impromptu, as I only know in one of my series I wanted to attempt what I defined as Urban Christmas tree. I only had a rough idea in my mind and I've not been slacking exactly, but been pacing around trying to put the idea together so I can finally show something decent here. 

Vintage Christmas

Hey all! This is the 2nd NOTD for Christmas of my 12 Christmas Nail Design series. And though I've called it Vintage Christmas, its really a mix between vintage and retro. This design was inspired by this Retro Christmas Card I saw in Etsy (view it here) but the colours are really vintage. 

Mint Jeans Pocket

Hello all~ So I've finally got my pictures taken, edited and now, they are ready to be shown!! So today's NOTD is inspired by a really beautiful mint jeans shorts I saw on etsy. I was anxious actually, unsure if I could really carry out the idea that spring to my head when I saw the shorts. Its nothing too complicated though, just wanted to create pocket jeans look on my nails (which would somewhat be dashed border/framed nails?). And.... I'm satisfied with the results! Nah, I REALLY LOVE THIS! :D I think its great to wear this nail look on days when you want nail art on your nails but don't want them 'loud'. 

And here's a quick look at the inspiration (too bad its sold, it wasn't when I saw it about two days ago?) :

By the way, is there any matte top coat that you know of that has a big brush? I find it hard to give a smooth application of matte top coat on my thumb's nail. =/

Dots of Red

Hello all! It's been awhile since I posted my last manicure. Today, I finally have one to share with you! I've been admiring many indie polishes by many talented indie polish makers out there but have yet to be able to make any purchase, also there's the pricing issue. With that said, today's nails are inspired by All That Glitters's Cha Cha Twist. I love that most of the glitters were the same family colour with red glitters as an accent colour. I guess I just really love the contrast between turquoise and red - much like how I think people with red head and blue eyes looks absolutely stunning! Alright, on with the pictures! 

While I would I am satisfied with how these turned out (I think these are the best dotting I've ever attempted so far..), I still do have issues with dotting. I know how that sounds just weird since dotting is supposedly one of the easiest and most basic technique to learn/do/master. My dotting just doesn't turn out well. If you look closely you can see all those stubborn air bubbles that appeared *sad face*. Oh well, I guess I'd just be needing more practice - practice makes perfect, eh? I'd get there some day! >_<!!
