F4 Polish Peppermint Stix!

Hello!! Today I'm very excited to share about a prize that I've won in a giveaway held by F4 Polish at their facebook page. It was a giveaway held to celebrate the mark of their 1,000 fans like on their facebook page.  I was really looking forward to receive this, because I got to choose any polish of my choice and get it at JUMBO size :D I've chosen one from their Christmas Collection which is Peppermint Stix! I chose it because everywhere I went, I've only been seeing Red & White and Peppermints! The name is so catchy too! Plus, I really wanted a red and white glitter, this is just perfect! Thank you again to Jenn, Lacey and Lexy, the ladies behind F4 Polish for this wonderful prize!

Lacqueerisa: F4 Polish Peppermint Stix
Truth be told, when I read Jumbo size... I thought it was only gonna be slightly bigger than the normal 15ml nail polish bottles. I was so wrong. So very wrong. But I'm grateful for that! ♥

In pictures above is one coat of Peppermint Stix over three thin coats of Tip Top French Manicure White. I know I should have swatch it over grey or silver so the whites in Peppermint Stix would show more, but aww, I really love the look of Peppermint Stix over white! So pretty!

This bottle contains a whole lot of matte glitters goodness! There's red and white bar matte bar glitters, small red matte square glitters and small white matte hexagon glitters. Such great varieties! I think that's what made this polish really special :) There were not so much fuss in application, its pretty much odourless and dries fast too. Though I would say its a little tricky trying to get the bars on the nails. I switched between direct application method and dabble method. And oh, they do need two or three coats of Seche Vite to smooth them out. Like all F4 Polish products, this is free of Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP (dibutyl phthalate).

Here's a quick comparison between the sizes of normal nail polish bottle and this JUMBO Peppermint Stix!

Awesomeness!!

*Updated to include more swatches*

As promised, here is the updated post and extra swatches I've procrastinated to do until now. Haha!!

Lacqueerisa: F4 Polish Peppermint Stix

This is 1 coat of Peppermint Stix using the dabble method over two coats of 17 Chaperone. Haha, and finally you are able to see the beauty of the little white squares showing.

Lacqueerisa: F4 Polish, Peppermint Stix

Well, I wanted to see what other colours I would love to layer Peppermint Stix over. So here's 1 coat using the dabble method over 2 medium coats of Bandi Crystal Brown. Aw I love this! Reminds me of peppermint sprinkles on gingerbread cookie! Yumm~!

Lacqueerisa: Melted Peppermint Candies

Ah, here's a quick swatch plus NOTD. While playing around a little bit with this Peppermint Stix, I find that it looks really good just on its own on naked nails. But being a polish addict, I don't think you want to see my yellow nails... ahahaha!! So here's a little take on what I deem as Melted Peppermint Candies. It is sort of jelly-sandwich. The jelly colour I used here is OPI Care to Danse?. I am pleased with how they turned out. Just so you know, these glitters are really top coat eaters. =/

So anyway, I hope you've enjoyed my short update on this post and the swatches I've included ♥
