Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Hi everyone! I have here the 11th of 12 Christmas Nails Series. And its inspired by the very song titled "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" the one particularly sung by Dean Martin. I love this song. One of my favourites for Christmas, like a classic. Always puts me into Christmas mood anytime! And despite its title, this song makes me all fuzzy and warm just by listening to it. My favourite stanza in this song is:

When we finally kiss good night
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'd be warm

Sigh Its a really cute Christmas song in my opinion. Hahaha! I sure do wish malls these days would play more of these good old songs.

Lacqueerisa: Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

There sure was plenty of whites in there. I wanted to recreate or mimic those snow fall photography that I've been seeing around etsy for awhile. So glad I've finally gotten around to attempt this look.

Lacqueerisa: Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

For the base, I've used two coats of Etude House BL501 and layered a coat of OPI Teal the Cows Come Home. And using various sizes of dotting tools, I've dot on Etude House BL501, Essence White Secret, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Tip Top South Africa French Manicure White. Sealing the whole design with two coats of Seche Vite. I did use toothpick to get the tinier dots.

Lacqueerisa: Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It was tedious alright. But I love it! I honestly thought I'd find it pretty 'mehh' and all, instead, I really love this look a lot! Hahaha! It's so... soo.... so wintery! I hope you have find this rather interesting too and a fun way to play with dots!

Hmm, are there any Christmas songs that would immediately put you into the Christmas mood?

  1. Oooh, that's so cute. *w* It's a shame that Christmas manicure time is drawing to a close. Still, that would suit all of winter. I like how it has a sort of softness to it.

    1. Hi5! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this as well :D Hahaha, that was what I thought too! Now that you mentioned it, I don't think I've seen OPI Spotted Top Coat around my area.

    2. I believe it was only released as a French Sephora exclusive, as part of the Spiderman collection (instead of the shatter colour). That's why it's near impossible to find outside of France, and elsewhere is probably for crazy prices ><

    3. Oh, haha i didn't know that! Thanks for the info! Haha! I'm really clueless when it comes to collections. =/ Ahh, but I'm pretty sure there's gonna be dupes coming up real soon. I've seen swatches around, I really love how spotted look over neon colours.
