Good Morning!
After a rather busy week, I've finally found the time to do my nails and to show you new nail art! :D This nail art is inspired by this dress I saw on Pinterest. Haha, but you know, how getting inspired is one thing, and being lazy to execute so much details is another thing. Hahahahha!!! So it's probably more accurate to state that this nail art is roughly based on the inspired dress/outfit. :)
I wasn't just inspired by the dress, I loved how she had matched it with the gorgeous bright red shoes! The moment I saw the whole look, I knew from then that I am definitely going to attempt a nail art inspired by not just the dress but the shoes too!
Hahaha! I do love how they turned out. Though they ended up looking more like Japanese-inspired-washi paper-ish nails. LOLs! Still I love them! Looks like abstract cherry blossoms too! :)
Well, one thing that amazed me during the making of this nail art was how fast it was for me to achieve this satisfactory look! Since it is so quick, I can't possibly keep this to myself! So stay tune for the tutorial up sometime this week ;)
Sooo, I hope you've enjoyed this nail art look! :) In case you did notice, hahaha yeah, my thumb is oval-shaped. That's cause there were double breakage =.= seriously, I have no idea what caused it to break. So I decided to totally nub it, in hopes the breakage would stop.
Woot woot!! Special feature today! I finally got the privilege to do nail art on my Mum's nails! Which is rare cause she'd usually just prefer to have solid colours painted on them instead. Haha! So, I was excited and happy when she gave this nail art an 'Ok' for her nails! Btw, her nails are so cute XD
And that's all for today :) Have a wonderfully blessed day! ♥
That is so very clever; how long does it take to do a design like that? Your mum's nails are beautiful, too. My mum also only likes solid colours on her fingers.
ReplyDeleteI love both nail arts! The first is gorgeous in its nature-related theme! Abstract cherry blossom, yes! And your mom's are amazing! I am glad she finally wanted to have some nail art! She must be glad too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! About 15minutes to 30minutes tops! :) Hahaha, I guess they are just not used to it. My Mum has this tendency to say "Nail art is only for youngsters.." aww.. which I totally disagree! I wonder if this weekend she'd let me paint new ones on them. Hahaha! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Thank you!! Hahaha, she was sooo impatient throughout the whole process! Every 5 seconds she'd ask "Are you done yet?" hahahahha! It totally would have been better if she doesn't move around too much while I was trying to concentrate. Hahahahha! But yes, she loves too! So colourful she says! :) Definitely looking forward to try more nail art on her! Hopefully she'd open up more to the nail art world ^^
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning!! So beautiful design! I really love colors you used to make it! :) And your Mom's nails are very funny!))
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I actually like the print on your nails better than the one on the dress :)
ReplyDeleteYour mom has pretty nails too!
So pretty! Mom's nails are cute too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you like them! :) Oh, I do so very much enjoy the colours as well :D Hehe ♥
ReplyDeleteOhh, thank you so much! That's so great to hear :) Hehe, she'd be so happy to hear that :D Thank you! ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you! Nothing like putting on a pretty bow ;) Haha, right? I look forward to do more designs on her nails :D ♥
ReplyDeleteYour mani looks so pretty! I love the bright colors you used and the details you put in... so gorgeous! And your mom's nails look really cute too. It's great that she lets you do her nails. :)

I think this is my new favourite manicure of yours. *w* I'm really partial to flower themes. <3
ReplyDeleteWOW.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know where to start *_*
Ok, first yours.. You painted this?? I mean..really?! It looks like water decals or something like that - they're just too perfect! I can't wait for the tutorial!!! This is too beautiful! I feel sorry for your thumb nail :( Wish you a quick recovery!
Now to your mom' s nail art. It's as pretty as yours and has your signature on it. I mean, I could totally tell that you did this hihi The matching colors, the clean work..yes, it's Lacqueerisa! Tell her my greeting and hopefully she'll be featured more often in the future ;)
Very nice design!
ReplyDeleteCome to visit me http://lakoman.blogspot.ru/
Thank you very much, Yun ^^ The colours were totally inspired by the dress :) So lovely! Hehe! It took me months of convincing! But worth it! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, thank you, Bethany! Oohh stay tune, I have a few more coming up? Hahahaa!! I'm truly glad these made it to your favourite! ♥ :D
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much Anhy! That's a really wonderful comment to get :D Hehe, I'm waiting for daytime to do the tutorial, hopefully I could get them up soon! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, thank you, but it's not so bad for the thumb. Besides, it's been a long time since I last have it at oval/almond shape. So it was kinda refreshing xD Lols!
Oh, Mum's nails were actually a slight variation of "Red Frames" I did back then. But thank you! :D So nice to know I have a signature look :P Oh, I'd be sure to point her here so she can see all the wonderful comments you lovelies gave :) Totally looking forward to feature her more often too! :D ♥
Thank you, Sveta! Glad to know you like them :)
