Bright Stripes, Little Spots

Hello! It's been quite awhile. I am really busy these days. Oh, life! Haha, so I mentioned previously I wanted to get swatching done. However, due to bad weather and haze and bla, bla, bla... I couldn't go outside for pictures. I did do some though, yet... As time passes by, I could no longer bear not having nail art on my nails. And so, I went ahead and get one done ;)

Lacqueerisa: Bright Stripes, Little Spots

These were inspired by colourful and quirky matchboxes I've seen on an etsy shop, BellaPop. The initial idea was to even incorporate some matches into the nail art. But... that failed. So, I revised them and decided to have colourful stripes instead! Hahaha!

Oh! The accent on my middle finger, I thought of adding a little bit of 'spring' theme. It was suppose to be an abstract four petal flower, but it kinda end up looking rather similar to butterfly instead. Oh well. I guess it could be both or neither at the same time, hahaha!

Lacqueerisa: Bright Stripes, Little Spots

I'm really into simple spots these days. I guess, one can say the inspiration was rather spot on. Hahaha! Besides, after days of bad air, celebrating the better air quality with bright colours is definitely called for ;)

I'm sitting here, staring at my own nails and still nodding with satisfaction as I recall every single bit of the calm and blissful feeling while attempting these. It may not be something meaningful, but I think its really good to just sit back and enjoy the journey of doodling colours or random patterns on your nails. It was so relaxing. And that made me think. Perhaps, its good to take the time to enjoy the process of whatever you're going through rather than worrying too much of the outcome.

Have a bright and wonderful day, everyone! :)

I totally get the busy thing, it's been affecting me too!! These are so cute, I love the colours and I don't know they make me think of like cookies and crazy sauce, but that's probably just my food obsessed mind. The accent nail is ultra adorable, I see popcorn but once again my foodie mind. Just in general such a well thought cute design :)

  6. If I look at the boxes only I'd never guess that it's your inspiration for this nail art xD I love your last sentence, it applies to life too and it's very beautiful ^.^
The nail design looks awsome, you can be more than be satisfied with it. And the little flower is very cute too. Hihi I really enjoy wearing polishes only these days but I feel the urge to change the color every day xD Weeeird. Anyways, hope life is not too hard on you! Miss chatting with you dear <3 And it's great to see your nail arts again ^.^

This is so cute and quirky! I love how you mixed-n-matched black/white and colors, and then strips and dots. And you tied it all together so well with that lovely flower/butterfly. Love this mani, my dear! :)

  14. Hmm, perhaps you won't. But I'm sure you'd have ideas of your own, considering you're just a nail addict as I am XD Hahahahahha!!

Thank you so much! So happy you think so! Ooh, I know! I had days like that too. Haha! Nah, its not weird. After all, for us, nail arts and nail colours are a lot like clothes. We need a 'fresh change' daily. Although there may be slight difference when it comes to nail art. But if its just colours, I'd have that urge to change daily as well hahahahaha!

Aww, I miss chatting with you too! Hope to be bouncing back on a more routine pace soon ^.^
