So... I Got A Gift!

Hey everyone! These images of this beautiful polish has been sitting way too long in my folders. Its by time I show it to you all. This was gifted to me by my wonderful bestie :) And what's more? Its kinda like twinsies, cause we both have the same polish ♥ ^.^

Lacqueerisa: Gift from Bestie

My dear bestie, being the sweet girl she is, she never fails to put a smile on my face while reading all the lovely words she wrote. In the above caption, she wrote: "Let God's light shine through the gloomy days!". I couldn't agree more with that. Love that beautiful reminder. How often we go through days forgetting that even through the darker journeys of our lives, God is still in control and is there for us and have something planned for us - always.

Lacqueerisa: OPI Kiss Me At Midnight
Back to the polish, here it is! My very first OPI Liquid Sand Polish :) This is yet another unexpected love. I have had somewhat similar family shades and I didn't quite like them on me. However, OPI Kiss Me At Midnight being a texture polish made the whole experience a lot more special and I love it!

Lacqueerisa: OPI Kiss Me At Midnight
OPI Kiss Me At Midnight, a lovely periwinkle blue with slight green/turquoise shimmers, tiny silver glitter dusts and medium silver hexagon glitters. Dries to matte finish and textured (of course, lols). And I simply love how sparkly those tiny silver glitter dusts are when they were all dried and textured. They looked like little diamonds! *.* So pretty!

Lacqueerisa: OPI Kiss Me At Midnight
Oops..haha! A little bit of dirt on my pinky. Hope you don't mind :P Besides, I don't remember how those got there in the first place. Anyway, back on track. I have no application issues. OPI Kiss Me At Midnight applied and spread evenly and smoothly. Reached opacity in just two easy coats.

Lacqueerisa: Frosted
And because OPI Kiss Me At Midnight makes me think of frosted windows, I decided to attempt something wintry and snowflake-y! I sure hope no one's too bored or over with wintry stuff yet. Though I won't blame you if you are. Haha! I'm ready for more colours myself too. And for my readers who are local, perhaps a wintry nail art to cool the heat? hehe. Ha, admittedly my snowflakes could use a lot more practice. But for now, am satisfied with how they turned out. I left them without topcoat as I think the rough look matches up with the texture polish. Plus, I didn't want to undo the texture polish effect. Otherwise, it'd be pointless to wear texture polish. Hahaha~

Lacqueerisa: Frosted
All in all, I love this polish (I think I've repeated this a few times already) Lols! But I really do! Great for nail art, and never boring on its own either. Every time I have it on my nails, I just love it more and more. So, I'm really happy my bestie got me this (thank you ♥). That's all for today. I'll have more swatches to come in the following days. Till the next post! :)
