Heya all! I'd be showing you two very lovely colours from Tip Top Nails South Africa. And if things goes right, I should be able to post up NOTD tomorrow or the day after. If not, well you'd know I messed up somehow. Haha. Alright, on with the pictures!
Oh my goodness. I'm not sure if you felt it, but that was really HOT! I was out of breath when I edited these pictures. I simply had to add the tagline there because when I googled "Tango" to choose which font I should use... Whoa, look at all those ladies in tango posters! Tip Top Mango Tango is the colour to tango with! Fiery orange red, shimmery golden yellows with hot pink undertones! Just like a spicy red dress shining under the dimmed tango lights. If you like orange, and want something that really stands out, this is the colour for you! Honestly, this colour didn't look good at all on my skin tone. But I really love saturation of this colour. The pink undertones totally creates a beautiful burnt colour effect around the areas that the lights didn't hit. Simply gorgeous! I love it so much I don't mind that it doesn't match my skintone ;P
On the down side, this nail polish didn't felt as smooth as the rest, a little wonky here and there. A good top coat like Seche Vite will solve the problem, and totally make the colours popped more! The pictures above are three coats. Two coats are alright but I felt that it needed three. Haha. The yellow shimmers, while they stand out a lot in pictures, in person not so much. Its looks much more like a saturated orange with pink undertones. The yellow shimmers are likely to show under the sun. I still love it if you ask me. hahaha!!
Next up Créme de Banana!
You know, I'm not one who drinks, thus there's a lot of drinks I have no idea about. I was wondering why was this polish called Créme de Banana and did a little search on it. I then found out its a liquor and there's also a syrup. Aw, that sounds yummy. So to be sure, I've asked Joan, from Tip Top what their inspiration was, and she gladly told me its the liquor. Well, don't you think its a really beautiful colour? I'm not one who drinks, but this polish sure made me curious for a sip of this. hahaha!
Créme de Banana a gorgeous brown with green shimmers and a reddish undertone. It looks really delicate if you ask me. I wonder if the drink taste that way too. Hehehe. The above pictures are two coats, but you can see in the last picture the pinky seems to be saying this needs another coat. No topcoats on these. Smooth and great application! No problems whatsoever. And they look great in picture as well as great in person! While its very closely similar to SkinFood BR612, they are not the same and I think I like this one better ;D Love the red undertones in it totally make this colour so unique and definitely a happy prize to get!
And that's all for today. It's pretty long post and I'm sorry I got too carried away and so wordy, hahaha! If you read up all to this point, from the bottom of my heart I say thank you to you! Really appreciate it :)
ps: ooohhh!! another parcel just came in!! XD
