Abstract Pebbles

Good Morning Everyone! Today's nails is a fulfillment of a previously promised attempt for another mustard & grey inspired nail art. I really love the combination of yellow/mustard with greys. I think they are just fabulous together! Aside from loving this palette, I've enjoyed looking at pebbles arranged in a framed of photo or picture showcasing a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. So today's nails, is pretty straight forward. I decided to do abstract pebbles.

Lacqueerisa: Abstract Pebbles

I've started off with three coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Using the polishes' brush to paint on and create the abstract pebbles shapes. And since I didn't want these to look realistic but to look more like a pattern or fun prints, I've added yellow lines on the grey pebbles with a nail art brush and left the yellow pebbles as they are. If you don't have a nail art brush, a toothpick with a sharp end will do.

Well, from a distance, the pebbles with lines kinda looked like leaves. So perhaps this is quite a weird take after all lols. Nevertheless, I still love it. Compared to my previous mustard & grey palette attempt, this is certainly much more satisfactory :D

Oh, its Monday already. Happy Monday all! Hopefully seeing something of a sunny colour will drive away your Monday blues ;)

  1. These are so cute!!! The three colours together are very unexpected, but so chic - reminds me of a summer collection that came out last year at NY fashion week (but can't remember who the designer was)
