Ho-Ho-Ho Christmas Nails!

Hello once again! I know I'm late again. So here's the 3rd Christmas nails of the 12 Christmas Nails Series! It was rather impromptu, as I only know in one of my series I wanted to attempt what I defined as Urban Christmas tree. I only had a rough idea in my mind and I've not been slacking exactly, but been pacing around trying to put the idea together so I can finally show something decent here.

Vintage Christmas

Hey all! This is the 2nd NOTD for Christmas of my 12 Christmas Nail Design series. And though I've called it Vintage Christmas, its really a mix between vintage and retro. This design was inspired by this Retro Christmas Card I saw in Etsy (view it here) but the colours are really vintage.

Yay! My first Indie!

Edited Note: Shimmer Polish has informed me that the labeling was wrong, this is not Nicole, but Eva. Which is a good - this means its available at her shop in etsy (here) if you wish to purchase :) Therefore, in the following pictures, please ignore the label ;D

Hello everyone! A few weeks ago Shimmer Polish had a little giveaway to 8 winners to celebrate her milestone upon reaching 1,600 likes on facebook. What joy it was, when I saw my name being announced as one of the 8 lucky winners! Omgosh! Totally didn't see that coming! What a wonderful surprise! :D And just a couple of days ago I've finally received this goodie! - yay!

A Touch of Blue

Good Afternoon! How are all of you feeling today? It is Monday and its exactly 36 days before Christmas arrives! I'm getting pretty excited, are you? From today onward, I'd be posting Christmas themed nails on every three days. Hopefully, I'd manage and be on time to post them but there's going to be so much to prepare for the season, while I'm excited to do this, I'm afraid of not being able to keep track (haha!). But at the end of it all, I do hope to be able to finish all 12 Christmas Themed Nails before Christmas comes knocking at my door! ;P

My Revlon Stash So Far...

Hello! It's been sometime, I know. Sorry about the lack of updates. Was busy getting these swatches done. I figured its by time I show you my stash of Revlons that I've owned and accumulated over the years.

Revlon - Midnight Affair
Revlon - Midnight Affair
Revlon Midnight Affair - The name says it all! This is my go-to blue. It is my kind of ideal navy blue to wear. When I look at this colour, I couldn't shake off the image of pairing this nail polish to a dark blue navy velvet outfit. But weather in Malaysia is just too hot to wear any velvet clothes. =P Anyway, last Wednesday (14 November), was World Diabetes Day and I looked through my stash and realised I lacked of stunning blues, I've sport this blue to show my support for this awareness. Right, who doesn't know about diabetes? We've all heard about it over and over. But have we taken the necessary steps to prevent diabetes? So, let's all reduce our sugar intakes for a better future! The colour is gorgeously pigmented, good to go with two coats.

Heya all! Here's a quick drop by to let you all know I've done my first guest post! (yay!) Many thanks to Natalia from cats-n-nails for inviting me to join in the collaboration with a few other bloggers under the theme Inspired by Jewellery! I was thrilled when she invited me! Haha! Don't forget to check out her blog and maybe follow her if you haven't! She's such a talented and nice person and her cat is soooo adorable, her cat does the cutest and funniest thing!

And if you would like to read about my post, you can do so here. :)

See you in another post! ;)

Happy Diwali!

To all my readers who are celebrating Diwali,

HAPPY DIWALI!!

And I have with me today, are nails inspired by Henna designs! I've always find Henna designs such a beautiful decoration on hands and feet. Its pretty unfortunate I've not the chance to try on my hand yet. Needless to say, I'd love to! My sister had the privilege to try one at her workplace and the lady did such a stunning job! I really like the simple yet beautiful design, so I thought I'd translate that onto my nails! ;)

Can you guess the flower?

Hello fellow readers! I do apologise for not posting much lately, been having a little battle of inspiration and execution. =P Anyway, I've finally come up with a decent NOTD to share, and it's inspired by one of my favourite flower - can you guess what it is?

Oh, look! Butterfly~

Hello Readers! Here with me today, is a nail art that's been playing in my head for the past few weeks and I've finally sat down and get it done yesterday. (haha!) Inspired by one of God's magnificent creature; butterfly! So, off I went searching for ideas and what did I find? Too many beautiful butterflies! I was so inspired, ideas rushed in like running water! It took me awhile to finally decide on Richmond Birdwing Butterfly as the inspiration. But there were so many that I wanted to do! So, I guess you could expect to see more of butterfly inspired nail art on my blog in times to come! ;)

They Kinda Look Like Tomato

'they kinda look like tomato', says my brother. - haha!

Hello dear readers! Today's nails were actually just inspired by colours. Although I had initially wanted to do something entirely different but it didn't turn out well. So, while I was removing the failed nail art to do a new one, I saw how pretty the red bleed into the green on the cotton pad and decided to achieve that look.
