Yay! My first Indie!

Edited Note: Shimmer Polish has informed me that the labeling was wrong, this is not Nicole, but Eva. Which is a good - this means its available at her shop in etsy (here) if you wish to purchase :) Therefore, in the following pictures, please ignore the label ;D

Hello everyone! A few weeks ago Shimmer Polish had a little giveaway to 8 winners to celebrate her milestone upon reaching 1,600 likes on facebook. What joy it was, when I saw my name being announced as one of the 8 lucky winners! Omgosh! Totally didn't see that coming! What a wonderful surprise! :D And just a couple of days ago I've finally received this goodie! - yay!

Lacqueerisa - Shimmer Polish Eva

Ta da! What I love is nothing more than a carefully packed package with a good amount of bubble wraps and presentation totally makes a whole difference in experience. I liked that she included her beautiful name/business card inside :) What about the polish? A stunning Christmas colour! So shimmery that my mom loves it too :D

This is the best I could do with my layman camera for a close up shot of the beautiful glitters. It's hard to capture all these goodness from far. As you can see, Shimmer Polish Eva is packed with small glitters of silver and dark burgundy red with a tinted pink base colour - but its light enough for you to use as a topping over dark colours.

Now we've come to the polish experience. Awesomeness. Did you get that? Awesomeness! The brush is soft, application is smooth, good amount of glitter distributions and I could hardly smell anything - almost odourless! Polishes just can't get any better than that, can it? Oh wait, it can. This glitter polish dries amazingly fast! ;)

On my index, middle and pinky fingers are three coats of Shimmer Polish Eva on its own, and on my thumb and ring finger is one coat over Skin Food Pedicure Series #01 (the light pink tint from the Shimmer Polish Eva gave a really good touch to it). Glitters being glitters can get gritty, if you don't mind it that much, a good layer of top coat would be good. Otherwise, feel free to put another coat on. Anyway, Shimmer Polish Eva is just so gorgeous!

Here's one last picture before I make my exit from this post. As a lover of mattes, couldn't possibly resist mattifying this (still so sparkly even in matte!). I love Shimmer Polish's tagline, its so suitable and so fitting for her polishes so I'm gonna use it here:

Shimmer Polish Eva, shimmy shimmer my life! ;D
