Happy Diwali!

To all my readers who are celebrating Diwali,

HAPPY DIWALI!!

And I have with me today, are nails inspired by Henna designs! I've always find Henna designs such a beautiful decoration on hands and feet. Its pretty unfortunate I've not the chance to try on my hand yet. Needless to say, I'd love to! My sister had the privilege to try one at her workplace and the lady did such a stunning job! I really like the simple yet beautiful design, so I thought I'd translate that onto my nails! ;)

Haha! So, how do you think I fare? I do apologise that they are fuzzy/hairy, swirls aren't easy to freehand with nail polish since they thickened fast --I'm sure most of you can relate. But, but, but!!! I'm very happy with how they turned out!! :D Took me almost the whole morning doing these! And if you do want to try these designs on your nails, I'd suggest spending time sketching, getting familiar with the designs first before you start. This will enable you to improvise and free flow the designs as you move from one nail to another. Unless you've experiences in henna designs, what a bonus that is for you! ♥

Few more hours to Diwali! I'd be expecting massive fireworks soon :D And again, Happy Diwali!!!

Nail polishes and tools used:
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Beige Blast (3 coats as base colour)
  • Tip Top Nail Chic - Chocolate Truffle
  • Nail art brush

  5. Another awesome manicure. ^^ I didn't even think of doing anything for it. But my boyfriend, who is Indian and presently in India, just finished retelling me all the folklore behind the day. Hehe. It's really fascinating.
