Hello to all of you! I'm in a very or rather joyous mood today since I do have nail art to share with you! I was browsing through etsy for inspirational food (as usual). Yeap, you read it right. Inspirational food. I am one of those who just can't go by a day without feeding my eyes with pretty pictures of creativity outbursts by all the creative minds out there. Hoho~! Back on track, I was saying look at this picture here. It is a Hot Air Balloon Kit Circus themed made by Claire Waring who resides in Sydney Australia! I loved the one with the blue dome so much I just have to have something similar on my nails!
I have always wanted to try out a nail art with Circus or Funfair theme. But somehow, that idea got forgotten when new inspirations/ideas were piling in. With this nail art done, I'm sure I could finally mark it as a done thing. The inspiration and idea sure came in an unexpected way, but I'm grateful!
Overall, the nail art is pretty much a direct translation with a few tweaks of my own. And because the buntings are varying from one nail to another, I didn't mind at all that they were having the same design on each nail. Although, the dots did appear less satisfactory than what I have hoped for. Fortunately I have decided the dots to be in three colours, same as the buntings so they turned out rather alright. Haha~
By the way, have you noticed anything different? I needed a change in my nail shape, and have been loving rounded squovals. So I filed them down and reshaped them. I think I'd refine the shape again when the nails are longer. The shape is still a little off from what I have wanted. Anyway, it's Monday again! Wish you all a wonderful start! :)
