One Bumble Bee

It's Saturday! Good Morning! 

I hope your weekend is starting great! Today's NOTD is inspired by this picture I saw on pinterest. I felt like doing something yellow inspired and stumbled on that picture on pinterest. I'm not too sure why, but there's something about the black dotted ribbon that captures my attention so. Hahaha! 

And this is the look I came up with. I have been loving this half cut across look these days. The inspiration is just perfect for this look. 

 

Initially, I just wanted to attempt the same for all nails since I was in a mood for uniform manicures. But on second, third and fourth look at the inspiration again...gah! The bumblee bee is too cute to ignore! 

I started off with two coats of milky creme yellow colour. When the yellow polish dried, I taped off half the section with masking tape and paint over the top half of the nails with OPI My Private Jet. Then I used my dotting tool and white polish to dot on the dots in a uniform manner. Using a black polish and a fine nail art brush, draw a line across. Finally using my nail art brush and dotting tool, I drew the bumble bee on my pinky. And yeap, I have to strategically placed it on the line just because I thought it was so fun to make it a little bit hidden. Hahahaha!!!
