Bling-Bling Nails!

Hey everyone! I have wanted to showcase to you this nail art on Monday to be honest. However, after reading Anhy's post, I can't help but to be affected as well since I considered the both of us (and many of you, too) my close friends. 'Bling-Bling nails' just didn't seem right to be up here at that time. So I postponed till today to post this up.

The nail art is nothing too fancy, just a simple and direct depiction of 'Bling-Bling!' emphasizing the sparkly sparkles the polish brings! :)

Lacqueerisa: Bling-Bling Nails!

Honestly, I never expected it to turn out this good. I just took the chance to try out the 'graphic sparkle' effect that I've been seeing many bloggers used in galaxy nail arts. I thought it was really cool and actually do compliment the nail polish :D (if you had not guessed, this nail art is inspired by The Face Shop GL114!) :)

Lacqueerisa: Bling-Bling Nails!

Let me walk you through briefly the thoughts process in my head when executing this nail art:

whoa, bling bling polish! > oh, let's have bling bling nails > uwahhh!! they look like pure gold on my fingers! > golds are expensive! > this reminds me of Christmas too!

Yeap, that's me trying to summarize my messy head. At least its simple and easy to understand when put that way. Hahaha! I showed this nail art to my Mum, her immediate reaction was "Wow, that's Christmas!" - I think I might just do a similar one for her on Christmas, except replacing money sign to a Christmas tree design (with Winter Holly of course!). But its not for certain, I might change my mind to something else depending on what she plans to wear on that day :)

Lacqueerisa: Bling-Bling Nails!

Oh, the thumb really looks like Christmas, yes? I just had to show this, since I really love the composition of the three sparkles :) Besides, good things come in threes! Hahaha!!

So this is all for today. Haha, this is one awkwardly short post - can't be help, since there really isn't much to say about this nail art. But I hope you have enjoyed it nonetheless :) Have a great day all!

  7. Hahaha, Thank you! :D I'm glad you enjoyed the fun fused inside this mani too ^.^ I think the next time I try this large sparkles again, I'd do it with white acrylic instead. White nail polish is just hard to work with (so stringyy >.<)

  8. Hahaha!! Thank you Ana! I'm glad you love it just as much as me! Perhaps the accent finger would look more attractive with a tree or rhinestone blings xD Now its just so randomly added and looking out of place, eh? Hahahaha!! XD

  10. I love this!! It's up my street like *eyes widen, pupils dilate* lol. May I know which polish you used for the gold base? It looks so opaque and simply seems like the perfect gold that I NEED <3 <3

  16. Ahahahaha I love the thought process xD You're officially a million dollar baby now, your nails are just too..blingy?! LOL I love them a lot! The sparkles look perfect and the $ sign too. Very neat! The thumb nail really does remind me of xmas themed nails. Like stars in the sky which are about to tell a story. Oh gosh, the more I look at it the more I love it *_*

  17. Thank you!! XD I'm glad you're loving them, lols! It happens too much sometimes it gets hard trying to recall what I wanted to talk about in the first place! Hahahaha!

Oh the $ sign, I did went back with the gold to 'clean off' some smudges - so that helps :D Haha!! Yeah, I thought they looked like stars twinkling in a night sky too -- so glad you love them ♥ Thank you, again ^.^
