Well, well...

Good Morning everyone! Today's post is one I debated for awhile - the same one that I had somewhat hinted, few days back. I suppose if you're a blogger and you are reading this, you would agree that blogging isn't as easy as it seemed. Preparing a post could very well be time consuming - the planning process, the execution, preparing contents, the editing, yada... yada.. Basically, there's a lot that goes into the making of one single post just so that the content would be something worth reading (sorta).

So what happens when you received an email from another requesting you to guest post and you took the time and effort despite in busy situation, to meet with the scheduled time only to realised, he/she has probably changed his/her mind and no longer wants to post your stuff? I may seem like jumping into conclusions, it can't be helped, really. It's been almost 3 months since the scheduled date and up till now, there's no updates or whatsoever. Assuming he/she isn't interested anymore... why ask if you are not sincere about it? Hahahah! Besides, the scheduled date was set according to mutual agreement. So.. I don't know. But here's what I think, in my humble opinion, if one wishes to extend the date or has decided my content is not worth it anymore, is it not a common courtesy to notify me? Or are common courtesies so rare these days its not common anymore? (quoting my nephew, he has a valid point there hahaha!) Lols. I sincerely hope such people are not in a mindset of when time goes by things or situations will just fade away...slide away and slip away and far away...and disappears..... *poof!* o.O

*Ahem* There's no way that's going happen, at least, not here. Think about what exactly is being wasted. The poor nail art which didn't get to see the light of day. Now, I know its no big deal. Just a nail art. That is true. But I do not appreciate having something I did which I can showcase here (noting the days when my blog doesn't have contents, haha!) going through decaying process in another's hand. Kinda pity, don't you think? Hahahha! Okay, putting my randomness and my rambles aside, my core message here is: Don't ask for guest post if you are not serious about posting other's stuff. Don't waste their time and don't waste your time. Period.

Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful to all of you who have taken your time and given me the privilege to guest post over at your blog. Thank you all very much :) Alright then, let's get to the nail art, shall we?

Lacqueerisa: Graphical Lines & Triangles

So drawing my inspirations from here together with some kind of graphic design lines in my head, blended together I came up with this look.

Lacqueerisa: Graphical Lines & Triangles

Well, I was going to copy & paste what I have written before, but reading back and looking at this now, my feelings then and now has changed. This is why usually I don't 'store' nail art looks, the mood I had when it was created would somewhat vanish or change (exactly what I meant by 'expired nail art') lols.

Okay so, one thing that stays the same is that this nail art do give me that cloudy day feeling (I'm pretty sure it was cloudy the day I created this). Haha. Must the grey background doing, huh? :) Either way, turns out this really looks like a wall in my opinion. Lol! It's based on minimalistic ideas, keeping everything to a minimum of just a few colours and simple design.

The process is very simple. Painted two coats of warm grey for the bases. Used a black liner/striper to draw random lines on just certain areas of the nail plate. Then, using a sponge I dabbed sparsely an off-white onto the nails, overlapping a little bit of the black stripes for that bit of 'scattered' effect. Followed by drawing of triangles with a nail art brush. Finishing off with a top coat.

Haha! There you have it, my wordy-wordy post. Hahaha! Eh, turns out this post didn't sound as bad as I thought it might. So hopefully you do enjoy this nail art, despite it being few months old. Hahahaha! Yeap, that is all for today. I will be showing swatches in the next coming posts :)
